About this product

Product Information

Tugger may be a worn-down Jeep pulling airplanes at the local airport, but he has bigger dreams--to fly. After being damaged in World War II, Tugger (voiced by Jim Belushi) had his engine replaced by an airplane propeller, endowing him with a yearning for the wild blue yonder. Nevertheless, his mechanical companions--including best-bud Short (Carrot Top), a short-wave radio, and Bob, an ex-bomber--will require more convincing, especially as the irrepressible Jeep-that-Could always takes the gang on a detour of wild adventures.

  • Tugger: Kids love it

This video came out of the blue. My son saw the movie at the local library and we took it home. From the very first scene, he loved it. The characters are enjoyable and the music is entertaining -- and period specific -- it is a post WWII story afterall. He simply did not want to return it to the library. For the price, it is enjoyable and appealing. Out of the box, I did not think Jim Belushi and Carrot Top would be good character voices, but they proved me wrong. I was surprised that Jim Belushi wrote and performed the songs throughout. Who knew? Overall, the video is a worthy consideration -- especially if your child likes airplanes, construction equipment, airports, and a good story about keeping your dreams alive.

  • GREAT MOVIE FOR ALL THE FAMILY TO ENJOY! MEANING FULL AND ENJOYFUL! VOTE 10

My son and myself went to the local Kmart one day and was digging through there $5 movies when I found this. He wanted it and since it was only $5 I figured it couldn't hurt. Since we've bought this movie the 2 of us sit down and watch it from sun up to sun down. Great movie for all to watch. (Okay I like cartoons but rarely sit down to watch TV) But when my son turns this movie on I can't help but break my concentration from working to watching it with him. Great movie about living your dreams and even though Tugger is broken down litterly when they find him again he is revived and lives his dream! If you have any little kids even my son is now 7 he still loves this movie. Better than some Disney movies in my eyes.

  • Very sweet movie with beautiful animation and a first-class score

The making of this movie perfectly demonstrated the theme of this movie: never give up on your dreams, no matter how bad things look at times. I know, because my incredibly talented husband, Greg Sims, composed and produced the musical score, and he was involved with the project almost from the beginning. It took many miracles for this picture to see the light of day, and I'm so glad to see that families are finally getting to watch it and their kids love it!

  • Excellent DVD, reasonably priced.

It's a wonderful cartoon. Teaches children to never give up on their dreams. Your dreams may take time but if you give it your all and don't listen to negative people, you'll come out on top, living your dreams. It a fantastic DVD to play when you have friends over to keep their children entertained, while giving them a life long lesson, they will never forget.

  • A Grandfather's Opinion

After catching this program on Christian television, I decided to purchase it to see the whole thing. Am glad I did. It held my 2 year old grandson's attention and he seemed to follow the storyline. The animation is good and the story filled with moral value. The ending was very well put together and nostalgic for an old Air Force vet like myself.
