However, I was able to take the back plate off the original emblem, use a Dremel to cut and sand off the pegs from the new emblem, then JB weld it together. For the price, I couldn't pass up taking a chance to make it work.

Well let me tell you that it will not stay in place without some to keep it in place from falling out. it did fall out and now it has scratches. I will keep one star for the scratches.
