    It is always interesting to hear about the common soldier on the "other" side. How did they survive the final years of the war with what little they had. How does his feelings and emotions compare to the US veterans of WW2, the Korean conflict and Vietnam . I know some of the stories of my relatives and friends but there are things they will not talk about. Good read if you are interested in this sort of thing.
