Having written The History of The Chris Craft Corporation's Jamestown Division in Falconer, New York (1944-1948) I can truly say that I look up to Jeffrey Rodengen as THE BEST of the Chris-Craft authors. His research is thorough and his writing skills literally compel readers not to set the book down! Having been able to purchase it used and in great shape will make my donation to the Lawson Boating Heritage Center a pleasure for me and all who read it there.

Filled with beautiful photography, this book takes a historical look at the beginnings of Chris Craft mahogany runabouts. It has info from his ideas, to surplus WW1 aircraft engines to the more modern Chris Craft boats of the late 1960's.
