The essential Les Paul Guitar book...
Tightly edited, to the point but with good depth, good descriptive information good illustrations. Well organized with a chronology and index. Best of all, it rings of credibility having been complied and written by leading and knowledgeable guitar people...both Bacon and Day have been around. Not a fluff book but a small and very important reference on Les Paul Guitars.

If you want to learn about the history of the Les Paul guitar, this is the book you need. It is very detailed on the first 50 years of the LP. Other books talk about the later variations. This book focuses on the beginning. A must have.
