      Carborundum Junk

      Bought this 8" fine crimped wire wheel to replace the one I have used for years. I thought I was purchasing a quality produce. Even though it was made in China(what isn't) I thought they would have specifications and quality control that the manufacture would have to maintain. As it turned out after using it for less than 5 minutes the brush looked worse than the one I took off. (see pictures) I emailed the company Saint-Gobain Abrasives,Inc. located in Worcester,Ma. and asked if the uneven lifting up of the bristles were normal for their wire wheels. After several weeks of waiting I have received no reply. Looks like customer no-service from Saint-Gobain. Bottom line IMO, if you are looking for a better than average wire wheel look somewhere else. The Carborundum made by Saint-Gobain ...
