    Another of my 'speculative' buys. I only know of the one hit, 'A Night in New York', by the band so this could be great or horrendous. I am delighted to say that the album is absolutely delightful! You can hear the influence of Kid Creole (August Darnell), who put the band together. Great tunes, sublime production and a soothing forty or so minutes of relaxing escapism! VERY highly recommended.

      I first heard this song via YouTube "Take Me For Night In New York" and I absolutely loved the song and still do, can't stop watching the video as well....I love the style of a 1940's club with a band playing everything about this awesome. And buying the album was the best thing I did, from my music tastes I love a big band sound with a twist, why I never got this when it first came out, but I can highly recommend this cd 💯% brilliant
