    A good figure overall

    This figure, made from the "Masterpiece Soundwave" mold, definitely deserves both the "masterpiece" and "platinum" titles. It's a very high quality figure, and nicely articulated. It also contains all the cassette minions and a non-transforming gun-mode Megatron, all of whom are also good quality. The color scheme (clear with copper) for Soundwave is not the best combination, but I am fine with it as it was only intended for the special "Year of the Goat" occasion. The color scheme for the minions (mainly clear and gray) works better, coincidentally looking a lot like "protoforms" from the Transformers franchise. Only part to have broken on me so far has been the stock for the Megatron gun's stock, which is luckily not required.

    Not as good as it could be

    Soundwave is good, but could have been way better. The clear plastic is cool but if it were a colored clear it would have actually been waaaay better. The clear is too distracting and I can't help but imagine each character in its respective tinted color of clear. The big bonus here is you do 5 cassettes with soundwave. They are a bit more forgiving in the clear plastic. All in all it's a good figure. If you have the regular MP version you may not need this one, but if you don't, it's a nice figure to have at the discounted price.

    Awesome

    This guy is amazing. The tape player mode is solid! It's big and it's heavy. Fits all the old tapes too. Speaking of...my only beef is i'm not too impressed with the quality of the tapes in this set. But I'm also not opposed to having a mountain of new tapes lol. Buy him, he's sick af. The megatron gun is amazing..

    Great Looking Figure

    I was a bit skeptical of the color scheme when I first saw it. I already have the original blue one which I love, but this one also came with all the tapes. Those characters are hard to find so I thought it would be great to have backups of them as well. This color scheme is growing on me now. The detail is fantastic and I think it is a great addition to the collection.
