I am an electrical engineer, and I have bought a couple dozen of these cameras to upgrade security cameras for my wife's small retail business These cameras are Hikvision compatible, and the audio recording is a great feature. You can connect these cameras to a smartphone app that will allow you to monitor the camera remotely, to configure the cameras and to playback video already recorded. You can add a micro-SD memory card for video recording, and the camera can be configured to work with a Network Attached Storage device.
