SweetHAWT, It's a Firecracker
Ignition! It's high octane trio pop at it's finest. The testosterone laden humor of some of the songs can kick start the dullest gatherings. Criminally unsupported by its label and industry peers. Track lengths are Ramone-short and written in an alto voice - the average Joe can hit the notes painfree. Fairly raw - glossy polish would have ruined it. Forget the genres - it's plain and simple rock and roll. 6 years after release, it still has the potential of being a sleeper hit. Would love to see a Volume 2 someday.Ignition! As an Old School Hair Band Metal fan and collector, the decision to buy this c.d. lay soley on the fact that it's C.C. DeVille's solo band. The lead guitarist for one of rocks most legendary Hair Metal Bands, C.C. brings his talent to a new level in his solo work. His hard driving rock riffs and his vocals are a must for any Poison fan, yet stand on their own as a great band in itself. For anyone with a taste for rock and roll with some flare, Samantha 7 fits the bill. Not to mention that C.C. has great hair, awesome sense of humor and has overcome such obstacles in his personal and professional life, that he deserves a listen to. This is C.C. Devile's debut solo cd and it is all pretty good. The guitar work is excellent, and he has a Cheap Trick sounding voice, with the regular Poison sounding guitar all through the cd. The group has only three members, and they sound pretty good with just those three people in the group. The songs are not as long as your normal Poison cd, and it does not sound as strong, vocally as a Poison cd, but it is still good and I don't see it around as much as I used to anymore. I totally love this CD. I'm good friends with C.C. Deville. We used to chat all the time. Until his Managment wanted me to get a Membership card. I can't afford to get one. So, I haven't chatted with him since March.
