The item was packaged very well, coming in a box a lot smaller than I expected. Delivery was fast from Japan to Seattle WA. I would order from them again. One thing I didn’t like was when I bought mine it said “last one” for $550. Only a day after I got mine the seller has a whole set again selling for around $650. So I am not sure they were completely honest about mine being the last one. So that may be something to look out for. Grateful for what they sent me and id order again as of now.

    highly breakable.

    Item is highly breakable. Unit has plastic anchors which are used to hold the two sides together and as such most become detached or break-off which caused the two sides to come apart! In addition, parts for this item are not available and or have become discontinued by the Roland Mfg.

    Ax Synth

    I tried the AX7 but wasn't happy, then when I got the Ax Synth it was so much better. I don't care about the built in sounds (they're all hokey) but what I like about this ax over all others is that it has more keys (49) and an octave button that puts your lead instrument in the right ranges. If Roland or any other competitor came up with an Ax that had even more keys and without the built in sounds I'd jump on that one. I also have a feeling that the built in sounds require more battery power. There are 8 AA's in this one and they don't last that long.

    This is the best keytar..

    Aside from the looks, the onboard sounds are great. if u want to use it as a midi controller keytar and use your other module its also great and u have alot of features on the keytar. Ax-synth is the best, keytar... get it, no regrets.

    Good looking and cool sounding keytar for the leader keboard player!

    Very good keytar for the leader keyboard player. 256+8 sounds are not so many, but most of them are useful, not like some keyboards with thousands of patches, but only few usable. Very frendly and instant interface for live performance. Everything what you need is under your hands. Looks very effective and cool on the stage.. I also use some of the sounds in my studio. Good fat bass sounds, and so on. It is good !DEA to use wireless audio transmitter-receiver with it while playing in live(You can find a lot of in here in ebay up to $30) Recomended.

    AX-SYNTH ROCKS!

    Used a Roland AX7 midi controller for over 10 years. Upgraded to the AX-Synth 6 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Great tone banks and an intuitive instrument, easy to become familiar with.
