The package was very secured with tape and several "Fragile" labels informing the transportation people to be careful on the outside and there was much packing to protect the platter on the inside. I thoroughly enjoyed our email messages after purchase and the platter arrived as beautiful as its description and without a scratch or nick from the transport. I Love it!!!!
