The apes escape on North American PS2s for a third time, and it will take more than a heroic kid with a simple net to trap them all before their mischief infects the minds of innocent folks around the world. Once again under the influence of the villainous Specter, siren-helmeted simians have invaded the local television station and begun to broadcast a signal designed to cloud the minds of viewers. Young Yumi and Kei must explore the station and round up all the rogue primates, before the damage is done. In addition to the regular compliment of ape-nabbing gadgets, the heroes can morph into special forms -- such as a ninja, a cowboy, or a chivalrous knight -- in order to take on whatever challenges those malicious monkeys throw at them this time around.

Simple but fun
This game came in a timely manner. It has pretty simple but effective controls. I like the basic level design and all the secrets you can come back to find later. Sadly the disc came in a rather scuffed condition but thankfully this has not caused any malfunctions or disc read errors.

I was always a big fan of the Ape Escape series but I never had a chance to play the 3rd game until now. I highly recommend playing it.

Last Ape Escape game from Sony!
This is the last Ape Escape game from Sony. UBI Soft now develops the series. But this is the best Ape Escape game by far. New Power ups, missions, and extra's! You can even play missions playing an ape in a Metal Gear Solid type. Only downside is turning your camera left or right, you need to use your shoulder buttons instead of the right analog stick. Best Ape Escape by far! Must own for platform and adventure fans!This is the last Ape Escape game from Sony. UBI Soft now develops the series. But this is the best Ape Escape game by far. Great Game
We bought the game Ape Escape 3 because we own the other 2 and loved them both. This game seems easier than the other 2 but once you beat the game once you have to go back through and find all the monkeys and then beat the game again. Only it's harder. I love how you can "morph" into different characters. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't seem as challenging as the other 2 in the series.
