Great 'Western' film , excellent entertainment and would highly recommend watching it !!!
It's a great entertaining 'Western' film and has a good story line and also coupled with a superb cast has stood the test of time ( made in 1967). Well worth watching and you wont be disappointed. Charlton Heston is at his usual best and his gorgeous supporting actress Joan Hackett also gives an exceptional great performance. The rest of the cast also play their roles extremely well and when you are watching this film you seem to get enthralled and can' take your eyes off it !!!! Highly recommended.It's a great entertaining 'Western' film and has a good story line and also coupled with a superb cast has stood the test of time ( made in 1967). This is a film I loved from the first time I saw it on television.A rare example of a film which is accurate historically and entertaining.The characters are real,the acting great and the story involves the viewer on a deeper level than expected.I'm a great Western fan in any case,but not all westerns are great,this one,in my opinion,deserves to be much more appreciated than I believe it is.It's in the same league as Monte Walsh,and even if you're not a Western fan as such,you won't be disappointed with this one.This is a film I loved from the first time I saw it on television.A rare example of a film which is accurate historically and entertaining.The characters are real,the acting great and the story involves the viewer on a deeper level than expected.I'm a great Western fan in any case,but not all westerns are great,this one,in my opinion,deserves to be much more appreciated than I believe it is.It's in the same league as Monte Walsh,and even if you're not a Western fan as such,you won't be disappointed with this one.
