DVD-Video/CD/ Video CD/VCD playback. DVD-R/DVD-RW*/CD-R/CD-RW**SVCD compatible playback ensures discs made with a personal computer can be played back in the home theater system too.

    Only Works with Remote

    You must have a remote to operate this unit. Be aware that there is zero to none original unit remotes for sale. I was able to find a company that did a good job with providing a universal remote that was preprogrammed to work with this unit for $20. The unit records well. It was video out via RCA cables and S-Video only. I'm transferring from 8mm, mini DV, and VHS. Works great for basic recording to dvd.

    it is an excellent player dvd recorder is says all the things it is supposed to do i had to put new batteries in the remote and it worked perfectly

    Toshiba DVD Recorder

    Unit works as if brand new right out of the box. Runs very quiet which is nice. Worked with universal Toshiba remote. No problems burning disks for multi purpose recording. Highly recommend any Toshiba product.
