The EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 is an excellent graphics card for its price. The only inconvenients are that it's a hot card, running at ~90% loaded @ 78°C and fan @ 80% (3570-3600rpm). You might say: oh, but fan @ 80% is not a problem, and YES, it is. It is very noisy at that fan speed, and the max. speed is 85% by default (although you can unlock it up to 100%, but I wouldn't recommend that, since it is very, very noisy). Also, it idles at 52°C @ 44% fan (1590-1620rpm). All of this was taken at 28°C room temperature, 74% humidity. For heavy loads, as when the GPU is +99% loaded, the card throttles down to 405mHz (instead of the 797mHz stock). This is intended as a TDP limit, since the GTX 580 has the same issue. Currently, it is only bypass-able with the 580, but not with the 570. That means that for heavy renders, this card is not recommended. This issue can be "avoided" if the card is underclocked at 540mHz, since it does not throttles down at +99% GPU loads, but this is false advertisement since Nvidia launched a 219w card, but you can never use fully the gpu.Read full review
Excellent graphics card, which I bought to replace another of the same model that was beginning to act strangely. The new card went straight in and was immediate recognized by Windows 7 and the same driver that was installed for the previous card. It performs just as well as the old card and gets the same performance rating from Windows 7 as the previous card did, and it resolved the issues I was having with the old card (it was black out both monitors without explanation or warning, which the tech support folks determined to be a hardware issue not related to either environment or configuration issues).

I love This Card! I have never found the need to overclock this as I find it plenty powerful enough at stock speeds. I only have one at the moment but hope to pair it up with another one for a sweet SLI setup in the near future,Not that it needs to be, I have never ran into a game this hot-rod couldn't handle..not even close! I got a good deal on mine($187.00 Used)and would gladly do it again. Every once in a while I've seen this go for as low as $160 Used on Ebay, but for the price,I think you would have a hell of a time finding something better or more powerful under 200$! And If you do, please let me know! If you find a good deal on this card, do not let it get away! You wont regret the great performance for the buck! Good Luck!
Bought this for my cousin, and he loves it! Got the driver and resolution working correctly, and he is now able to have much better gaming performance than his previous GPU, the GT 710.

This card cannot handle any modern games so don’t expect to be using it for any games like Fortnite.

Say that five times fast! That being said, as far as 2D-monitor 1920x1080 gaming is concerned, the GTX 570 should be a top choice, and the EVGA SC model should be one of the models taken into consideration. In any case, I made my choice and bought this card
best card ever - overclocked its faster than the gtx 660ti! using MSI afterburner i run my core at 930 mhz and the memory at 2100 mhz - its stable and cool.
Great video card! runs great, runs all my games on high settings, runs pretty cool..over all love it. thanks
