what an under-rated pop rock album this is, from 1990, not as good as the stone roses debut, which is the sort of sound it has, only with the organ sound which you assosiate with the charlatains, and not as good as the 2 fantastic albums they made in the mid to late 90s albums 'Telling Stories' or 'Us and Us Only', but it does stand up as the best album besides those two, with Sponston Green and the cult classic The Only one I know. Pre Britpop, pop, with a baggy, dancable beat and great bass lines, not as much fans only as some debut albums but if your new to the Charlatains Id go for Telling storys, but non the less a very good album
