    Jig heads are as described in new condition. The look like a good solution to snags when Ned Rig fishing. None of my local retailers carry these. The price was good and included free shipping in a padded envelope, which was fine for this product. Shipping was pretty slow, though. They didn’t get in the mail for a week after ordering so it was about two weeks from payment to receipt. Overall it was a good experience.

    The Bear Can Cut!

    Cold Steel's Black Bear Bowie is an excellent value. It arrived with flat spots on the edge, so was not as sharp as it should have been. A few minutes with a file & a diamond rod had it shaving hair off my arm. The blade was perfectly straight & grinds were cleanly executed. The handle is comfortable & fits the hand nicely. Blade stock is thin (it is more of a machete than a knife), but doesn't have much flex & it is lively in the hand. I spent some time cutting water-filled bottles & the Black Bear Bowie performed quite well. The sheath is adequate. This would be an excellent camp knife or survival blade in my opinion. Highly recommended!

    Knife Has Good Bones

    I like the look & feel of the knife. For the low price the quality can't be beat. This is a great project knife to remove grind marks, re-bevel blade, add micro bevel & hone. I enjoy the challenge.
