It was fault of the seller. They have nothing to do with it after the package leaves there hands . I believe it is the shipping company fault. But what can you do get an antique replaced. The sad thing is the typewriter was/ is working. As I said this is no way the sellers fault. I recommend this seller and would buy from again. Thank you
