Gamers enlist the help of a talking shovel to dig dungeons and trap troublesome monsters in Master of the Monster Lair. Foul creatures have overwhelmed the village of South Arc, and players must dig elaborate labyrinths in the ground to lure, and then trap, all the different bothersome beasts, with captured monsters resulting in new weapons and items. There are more than 20 different rooms that gamers can use in their dungeons, including chapels, cellars, stables, and trash dumps, and each room attracts a different kind of creature. Online gamers can share and explore one another's dungeons using Nintendo's Wi-Fi connection.
