I have had KN FIPKs for 23 years. On my 2002 Camaro SS, I dyno d before and after install and 29 HP increase and 27 Lbs/Ft torque. I have not dyno d since, but after installing this on my 2013 G37, the throttle response is so much better, making it much more fun to drive. I think fuel mileage is better too, but that might be because I recently got another ticket so perhaps I am driving slower than before, which would increase MPG. ONE COMPLAINT for KN, not the seller here: KN should have included 2 hose clamps for the driver side connection with the 2 - 4.5 inch hoses joined by the splitter. I knew that was the weak point, and after a 1 minute test drive after install, I found the hose had blown off. So a quick fix was 2 hose clamps, but I am surprised KN did not supply them ... Overall satisfied with my purchase’ it’s affordable and durable. All parts were present and the instruction manual went over install pretty well (there’s a couple parts it doesn’t cover but it just takes some common sense to figure some things out) I did the install by myself it took me about 3 hours but this really should take 1 hour max if you know what you’re doing. Felt a slight difference in performance after install’ but after I put my new cat back and headers on I will soon Dyno. Would recommend.
