I have no idea if these opamps are genuine Linear Technology items, but they sound the same as the genuine versions I've had for 15 years. Excellent opamps for my headphone amplifier! Such transparency and clarity! SO quiet! As far as being suitable for quality sound as I'm using them, they are fabulous, great value for me and a friend, though the model number came off very easily in my first samples. Don't put IPA on them.
