    Broke after 1 use

    I used this pole to go scuba diving in salt water ONE time. During the first 30 minutes of the dive, the plastic cap that holds the thumb-screw on fell off and was obviously lost in the water. Furthermore, once I got out of the water and returned home the pole would no longer extend at all because the salt in the water had seized up the sliding extenders. My drive home from the dive site took 2 hours, and within 10 minutes of arriving home I rinsed the pole thoroughly in fresh water (completely extended.) The next day I took a look at the pole and found that I could not extend it at all. I even used a wrench to try and unscrew it and it would not budge (using more power to unscrew it would definitely break the pole.) Completely unacceptable that this happened, especially since I ...
