    The book arrived today in excellent condition; wrapped in protective bubble wrap, and protected in a study cardboard box that was perfect for the book size. The book has sentimental value and I asked Brenham Book Company for extra care to send the book and I was trully impressed by their reply and actions took.     Packaged fine, not described as listed at all. It’s very clearly not brand new and a library book. It’s very clear this was false advertising. I 100% was lied to. It’s not new—there were pages dog-eared. The seller was horrible at communicating. It took a very long time to receive, and tracking it was a nightmare and very unclear. I paid $50 for a book that was “brand new.” I was 100% scammed. What a complete joke of a seller. I literally received a library book. It’s definitely not “brand new”

    Broad overview

    While my period of interest is the Fur Trade era of US, this collection provides fashion world wide over numerous periods which is helpful in understanding the origins of styles. Beautifully illustrated and described.
