That said, the box it came inside, was banged up, and the small branches of the tree had circular gaps between them as if someone had pushed their fingers into the tree. The external box was well packed, so I'm not sure how this happened, but I largely fixed it via spending some time sitting there, "fluffing the tree up". Regardless this little tree went perfectly where I needed.
