The clamp was very well packed in a heavily taped plastic shipping envelope. The original 4 1/2 inch wide clamp box was wrapped in a full four feet of bubble wrap. Inside, the two clamp sections were heavily padded with wadded-up paper stuffed into every corner of the box. With this care in packing, the clamp arrived undamaged, just as shipped.
