Open Box can be a GREAT VALUE
I have been looking for a Camcorder and the prices just didn't break over the holiday as I was expecting. Then I check the ebay and the BestBuy store had a great value on this camera. The box was less than stellar, but who needs the box once it's opened? THe camera is in excellent condition and accessories were all present. (Read the fine print because at times some things can be missing.) No owners manual (easy to google and download). I think one of the besst features is the ability to purchase an extended Warranty from Best Buy. With the savings I had from the 'open box' status, I was able to purchase a 3 year warranty (100% coverage) and still saved enough money to buy an extra battery! 4/5 stars because it took a bit to get the warranty figured out!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Stability Is Key
Really good camera with excellent image quality and the Sony BOSS system (Balanced Optical Stabilization System) using an internal gimble to stabilize the lens allows really clear action images. I use it to video snow and water skiing where I am often bouncing around, but the camera does the work to keep the image centered and quiet. Good fetures and easy to use.
I like the new camera, as a matter of fact I bought two of them. I plan to to use them with a video mixer and therefore have to use a cable to connect them. The camera has a micro usb output which is not very sturdy. I already damaged a cable and had to replace it because I got my leg tangled in the cable and it damaged the micro usb male connector. I would have been better if they used a hdmi on both ends. Other than that these cameras are very nice. Need hand stabilizer
