Perfect for work
Going to a connivence store everyday buying coffee was getting expensive- with $5 is coffee a day I decided to buy this keurig and give it a try. I’m not disappointed - the small tank of water in the back does 3 large cups of coffee before having to be refilled- doesn’t take up lots of space- and as a busy manger all day I can make coffee when I have time now and not having to reheat my coffee plus I’m saving tons of money- I have the larger keurig at home and the taste is the same, it’s probably a little slower heating up but that’s not an issue due to being less than a minute difference between the two- a great coffee maker for the price will not be disappointedVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not For me!!
Not That Easy!!! I like very strong coffee. The Keurig doesn't make strong coffee. I've tried the ready made K-cups and have bought the refillable cups as well. Still not strong enough. I use my own coffee in a refillable pod and run water through twice. I haven't used the regular maker which is the other half. I'm going to put my new machine on Craigslist and go back to using my single cup coffee-maker. If I was going to do it over, it wouldn't be a DUO type maker. Size matters
My wife kept complaining that I was putting too many things on her beautiful stone countertop iin the kitchen. TOO many "appliiances"! Krurig was always bigger than my coffee makers, and I am the only person that drinks coffee. Finally, my coffee maker started leaking. I looked around and found the Keuring Compact. LOVE IT! Quick, easy. Takes up as much space on the counter as drip coffee maker. The water reservoir has a top that is very difficult! Small pinch top remover almost impossible with arthritic hands! I turn the unit off immediately after brewing because it will continue to heat the water from the reservoir. Unnecessary power drain? Unusable. Substandard manufacturing
All one has to do is an internet search of Keurig and smell and you will see my problems. Plastic has a bad odor like burnt oil. Keurig sent a replacement that was just as bad. After several frustrating and condescending phone calls they finally sent me an upgraded model that was brand new. That works just fine. It seems like Keurig had some manufacturing problems in 2016/2017 and thought they could sent this garbage out hoping that people wouldn’t complain. If taste of brewed coffee was OK would be 5 stars.
Only bad thing was taste of brewed coffee. Believe it is the heating element. Heated water or coffee tasted like burnt wiring or plastic or both. I ran through a few cycles of plain water but did not help. I was replacing an old B 40 classic which brews fine. (Seal between reservoir unit started to leak. It is very old and got lots of use out of it). Unfortunate as unit worked fine otherwise and good size. I believe I read another review with similar complaint but that was from couple of years back. Reviewer said Keurig sent him a replacement and it was OK. Maybe quality control problem, who knows. This item did get mostly 5 stars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
