    Works as advertised. Has extra shielding to protect signal from interference.

    I gave it a no for installation. It's not that hard actually. The only difficulty is fishing the wire. On my boat it wasn't difficult. Depending on where you mount your unit, it might be a challenge fishing the wire through the boat to get to the unit.
