    Uniden Bearcat BC72XLT handhel scanner

    An "oldie but a goodie!" I was fortunate enough to find this in virtually like-new condition. The previous owner(s?) kept their things in good shape! it may not have all the super-high frequencies but it's just fine for lisening to my local public safety agencies and for railroad scanning (my main interest. If you can find one in good shape for a reasonable price - grab it.

    Excellent as always, except...

    This is my 4th or 5th BC72XLT and for some reason it has a lot of static that the others didn't. Not sure if it is defective or if the antenna isn't any good. This is my favorite over all of the newer models and will continue to purchase it as long as possible.
