    The shipping time was average I suppose. It was packaged well. The item was more or less as described except for some things the photos didn't show and weren't in the description. There was a small crack in the shell, screwdriver gouge marks by the bottom connector and a missing screw. I buy a lot of these for parts so I dont expect functionality. But I do not purchase them with cracks or gouge marks. Because they can't be repaired. Photos are added for reference. Thanks

    Used Linksys Router

    Bought this to replace same type of device that failed. Backup of settings made it easy to install. Works great - just not quite as long a range as my old one. Good value, quick delivery.

    Good but not for what I wanted

    I bought this product so I could connect an external hard drive through its usb port. Even though it recognized it in setup I can't save the settings. I called linksys and they had no clue on the matter. They told me they no longer support the product and told me to call another place. The router is good but I cant use it for what i purchased it. If you just need a wireless router for internet, this should work well for you.

    Linksys E3000 is enough for home use

    The E3000 made by Linksys is a quality wireless switch and router. I have been using one for several years. It provides the necessary extension to the supplied Ethernet transmissions from my IP supplier to conduct real time streaming as well as downloads. The second acquired was to act as backup as the first is beginning to weaken somewhat for the continuous use. I would not say that a buyer would be able to receive the new gold standard of steaming 4K since I didn't have a 4K set. However, everything else as sufficient. Security is satisfactory as well.

    There is great value in buying top of the line router from several years ago.

    This was a top of the line router back in 2010-2011. It's still a very good router, and certainly better than cheap routers you can buy in 2017 for around $60. If you can buy the E3000 used for around $20-$25 it's a great deal. I particularly like that this router model still has the activity lights on the front. So many routers these days have activity lights on the back, if they have them at all. This router also has an on/off switch, which most routers do not. It makes power cycling a little less of a hassle. I also suggest flashing this router with an alternate firmware like DD-WRT or Tomato.
