    Very nice inexpensive motherboard.

    I love the PC Mate, while it doesn't come with surround sound ports, you can easily install a surround sound PCI card. I hardly use surround speakers anymore, so I don't feel it's a big deal. I love the blue as I was making a blue-themed build and installation was a breeze. My one and ONLY complaint for this mobo is the fact that the USB 3.0 port for the front I/O is absolutely too close to the power connector. I had to shave down the USB plug to get it to fit. Other than that, this mobo is the best option on the market for new people and experienced just trying to get the best bang for their buck. The BIOS is click and very easy, four out of six SATA headers are angled, system fan headers all around the board and pretty decent integrated graphics, but that depends on your CPU.

    It just works.

    Worked perfectly right out of the box. I didn't have to do any intensive cleaning or troubleshooting. CPU, RAM, Hard drives all worked fine on first boot. Was replacing a failing 1150 mobo, and this just fits the bill with minimal effort. Just had to re-activate my Windows license to the Z97 motherboard.

    A good three year old board but reliable and stable.

    I have this and the the faster gaming series and I like them both. I use this one for my music production with my Intel i5 LGA 1150 chip. There is no on board MSAT-1 slot but has fast SATA SSD drive connections. Also has several pci and pci-e slots and room for all my DRAM memory needs.

    works right out of the box

    I hooked up a PS, put a processor and ram in it and it started into the BIOS. I then added a HD with an OS on it and started Windows in 'safe mode' - all good, Shipping was reasonably fast and packaged well. Overall, I'm satisfied.
