  • Slot car conversion

I used this model with a vintage Aurora - K&b adjustable chassis,to make a very cool slot car, had to stand a little on the front bumper to make me happy with fit, but all around a nice kit for the $$. Color is a little wierd ,so I painted and clearcoated mine..nice decals, but I used 3m pinstriping tape on the striping,as I'm not the best with water slide decals. Painted up the caped crusaders and used double face tape to attach them to interior,as I had to cut some away to make room for slot car chassis...easy modifications with a dremel, and some imagination. All in all its a great platform for a conversion to a slot car.

  • It's 1966 again

Built one with my uncle when I was a kid - - that one is long lost of course. Going to do it again with the grandkids. Exact copy of the original kit. Pretty cool....and its the real Batmobile.
