    Amazing results!!!!

    I was skeptical but wow this product works!!! My headlights were so bad i almost ordered new ones at $200. Check out my pic of the first one i did. Be sure to tape off paint around light and follow instructions. There is a youtube video if you search 3m headlight restoration kit. It is a simple process and the results make it a fun project!!! This product will not disappoint!!!

    Headlight polishing kit

    Even on slow with a decent variable drill I'd often get swirl marks.... sadly it worked better doing it by hand rather than on the drill in the end. It'd mostly go ok with the drill but each time you have to clear a swirl mark you may as well have just hand sanded it all in the end... If I could go back I'd probably just order a the sanding pads with out the kit in a large quantity.... but it seems like the kit has not quite enough in it to finish... and then buying 3000 or whatever grit sand paper you have to buy a ridiculous quantity and I couldn't find them in box stores.... next go around I'll just go to an auto paint supply place and get polishing supplies there. Save a ton of frustration... ...but in the end, my headlights look a ton better.

    Excellent product if you are willing to put in the time.

    A great kit to fix headlights. There are a lot of them out there... The total process takes about 45 min to 90 minutes, depending on the amount of wear in the headlights. This makes that 10 year old car look like new. The process is well worth it. The quality of the end result will depend on your patience, but if you follow the instructions you can end up with something that looks as good as new. See the before and after pictures. This was done mostly by my 11 year old (father, daughter project).

    good results even for the novice if you follow instructions. you will save money.

    this product clearly explains step by step how to get lens clear and did the job as advertised for 1st timer like myself. I personally recommend taking headlight off the vehicle to have complete lens access. This allowed me to confidently work on each lens while avoiding having to tape the painted surface around the lens. I didn't want to buff and burn any paint off the vehicle and also having to clean the splatter when water is added to the final polishing step.

    dont have to be a pro

    its a great product. i used it on my car and tried wet sanding starting at 800 and it came out better. i saw a video from Jake Spence on youtube using this product and im blown away. all that its missing is some UV protectant clear coat and two batteries if you are going cordless. i will buy for my tundra headlights next.
