Anti mole device
I bought 3 of these devices, in an all out effort to combat the moles who are trying to destroy my front yard. I already had 3 older similar devices in the yard, plus a solar powered similar device. I felt that the moles had created a den in the root ball of a pin oak tree in the front yard, and I needed a device that would penetrate the ground and disturb them while in the root ball. I planted all 3 devices within 3 feet of the pin oak. Because of their larger size, it was a bit difficult to get them into the ground. But, with a iron pin and a sledge hammer, I created the necessary size hole. After putting the device in the ground, I filled the gaps with a fine grain sand. The next day, when I came out to inspect the devices, I found fresh tunnels around the base of the tree. About 3 ... I bought 3 of these devices, in an all out effort to combat the moles who are trying to destroy my front yard. I already had 3 older similar devices in the yard, plus a solar powered similar device. Seems to be working...
Mole tunnels have diminished since installing the item. However, the metal bodied unit is pictured and I received the plastic item. I'm not really thrilled about that, we will see how the plastic one holds up over time.
