    A heartwarming family story!

    I was very happy to finally find this film in DVD format. To describe this film too much would be to spoil it for the viewer! Suffice it to say that the story moves along briskly, the plot unfolds in a way to keep the watcher guessing just enough and the cast does a wonderful job making you care about every character. James Earl Jones & Robert Duvall are stellar, but my favorite is "Aunt Tee"! (Played by Irma T. Hall)

    What a great movie that tells many stories in one on life in general. This one shows the hindrance & value of the family you knew & didn't know ~ at early & late phases of your life. A hilarious at times~ a true look at both sides and how they work through big & little issues. A must see! Wonderful actors that will stay in your mind peacefully for years to come!

    Worth the time

    This movie may not have been a huge box office hit or received multiple awards but it's my opinion that this is a movie well worth your time to sit and watch. The underlying theme of things not being what they seem and truths being very blurred in the effort to "protect" people is one that can be appreciated.

    Great movie!

    I had seen this movie when it first came out, and then again when it was available on VHS. I was thrilled when I discovered it on DVD and was able to add it to my collection. Definitely a movie worth watching!
