Works - but use with care.
It certainly worked removing what looked like light ink stains on a cream leather chair and I would confidently use it first on other stains as its ingredients (mainly lanolin) seem safe enough. Having said that, the instructions correctly warn you to try it on a small area first. I tried it on another large black speckled stain on the same chair. I suspect it came from a delivery label? Ink Remover
I was so upset I sat on my pen and got ink all over my cream leather sofa. After using marks were faded. Used again and marks totally gone. I am so pleased, if I am honest I really didn’t think it would work!

Amodex to Remove Ballpoint Ink
I got Parker ballpoint ink all over a new shirt. I looked on the Parker website and they recommended Amodex. I followed the instructions and was able to remove the ink with no trace after treating with Amodex then washing. The product exceeded all my expectations.

Really removes stains
Leather sofa from Laura Ashley saved thanks to this. My toddler somehow got hold of a permanent marker and went to work. Three applications of this, and the marks are gone - without damage to the leather. Well worth the price.
