Good promise, but needs some improvements
I really wish I could have given this software higher marks, because I think it is the best model railroad database out there. But, I have a lot of equipment to enter, and I encountered a number of issues that need enhancement/correction. Despite this, I think the program has a lot of promise. I have been in communication with the developer and he is certainly receptive to ideas and has placed some of my suggestions on his list of things to add/improve in future releases. So, big kudos to him. I should mention that this particular software was released in 2014 and is no longer being supported. If you can read German, or are adept at comparing German labels to their English counterparts, Stecotec has recently released Modellbahn Verwaltung 2017, which is the same program with ... Fortunately, there is much that you can translate into English with preference settings, so it's not as bad as it could be. There are German-English translators on the Internet that can help a lot here. I believe that an English version will be coming out sometime. Yes, I would recommend it, even with its shortcomings, as I like its user interface and think it's the best program out there.

The Best Tracking Software I've Seen...
and I've looked for years while holding onto antiquated software. I waited quite some time to begin the conversion process and glad I finally did. This software is amazing with all of the features included and the ability to customize the program and track everything you have down to parts for your engines, cars, structures, etc.. Adding items is very easy as all of the information you are able to add is available in tabs like the web browsers, which makes switching to what you want to add/look at very quick and smooth. The ability to store model and prototype information on the same page is nice. You can stay simple and simply list what you have, or detail it to the weight, speed, fuel capacity, etc. You are not able to run reports, however you can export to pdf and html, which is ... and I've looked for years while holding onto antiquated software.
