Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Monitor/AV Cables & Adapters
Despite the somewhat cheap plastic appearance, the unit does exactly what it says it will do: VGA input and simultaneous VGA and AV/S-video output. The VGA out is "straight through" - the VGA video out is always the same as the VGA video in. The Menu button allows for picture adjustments to the AV/S-video output: Width and height as well as the usual brightness, contrast and hue. Repeatedly pressing the Zoom button, which only affects the AV/S-video output, cycles between displaying the full VGA screen's image or one of the four "quadrants". This allows the main VGA monitor to display, say, a DVR output showing four camera images while the AV/S-Video output can be selected to display (full screen) just the image from one of the four "quadrants". Pressing the Zoom button again displays the full VGA image. One slightly annoying feature is that, having adjusted the width and height to eliminate any black borders when displaying the full VGA picture on the AV/S-video monitor, when the Zoom button is used to cycle through the display options, the black borders have come back when the cycle returns to the full VGA picture again. It's only a nuisance if you want to constantly switch between the displays - I imagine most people will select the AV/S-video they want and leave it at that. The unit is easily powered from a spare USB socket (most DVRs have at least one spare) and all the leads are supplied. The "User Guide" isn't much help but the unit is so intuitive, the guide isn't really necessary at all.Read full review
