Thank you for keeping one of these 15 year old printers in stock. I’m using it with and old Apple 3 G. Computer is purposely not connected to the internet. I have two other computers that are connected. It’s amazing how well the old computers work that were not specifically designed to receive updates from the cloud. This old epsom is one of the few printers that that is compatible with and old Apple. Arrived in a timely manner. Works like new.

Many great things about this printer. Easy to just do a copy, fairly nice quality, cartridges are cheap if you buy in bulk. (I get all cartridges for about $1.25 each.) At this price, I do not worry too much about it using a little bity more ink. But you can reduce it buy changing the quality of the printout. Now the downs,... The paper holder on the back is not too terribly strong and it broke. I used some glue to fix it but it will not hold up if I move it or bump it. As everyone says, it is a bit on the slow side. Now the BIG one... If you are setting this up on Windows 7, bring a lunch and make a day of it, and you should probably know something about drivers, setting up printers and windows 7. It IS possible to set up on Windows 7 but it took a lot of work, and whatever you do, DO NOT try and set up software untilities for this printer that were written for earlier versions of Windows; it will screw up whatever you did get going and you will h ave to go through a lot to remove it before you can get the printer to work on Windows 7. As I said, IT WILL WORK in Windows 7, but it is a lot of work to get it there.Read full review
I bought this, as I had the X320 which uses the same ink cartridges. This printer is a total upgrade from the X320. It takes great quality copies and prints photos perfectly. The one advantage to this over the X320 is that this has a lift up top for scanning and taking copies of non-8x11 items. We're loving it in a small office, and the setup was quick and easy! Would buy it again!
These printers are still supported by macOS 11 and Windows 10, as well as macOS 12 and Windows 11, and automatically installs under both Operating Systems. I have one and love it. But this printer, due to its age, 15 years+, will need to be serviced if you buy one off of here or elsewhere. They will most likely need to have the print heads purged and the foam pads replaced on the bottom where the print heads move across (they will rot over time). This is not an easy task for most people, and parts are difficult to find. Epson does have resources available for parts and ink (according to their website). You just have to evaluate whether you are willing to put that much into it to justify the cost.
