    lights are nice but housing is not universal to all roofs

    The lights are nice and bright and the wiring kits convenient BUT the plastic housing is not universal to all surfaces and roofs. The housing has a completely flat bottom surface and most roofs have a curve to them therefore making mating of the two a tough job. The provided 2 sided tape is not near enough to fasten it securely nor will the plastic flex enough to stick safely to all curved surfaces. I added super strength tape then had to weight the pod down overnight to get it to stick on all corners. Over a few days even with this corners kept popping off as the vehicle flexes and wind pushes on it. So the only option I had was to seal it permanent to the roof with a silicone adhesive. Which the downfall is if you ever wanna remove it will damage the paint or leave a nasty residue. Then ...

    mount the light's to a flat secondary surface and then mount it on the your project.

    first off any body with a brain will know that this light housing need to be mounted on a flat surface and secure better than 3m tape. but for the price you can not beat these lights and there built a lot stronger than they look,my shipping box was totally destroyed and there was no damage to the lights. they are very bright,it up to you on how to mount them though.

    Nice lights

    Got everything wired up and hidden in my a-pillar and run to roof in about 30mins...would recommend taking double sided tape off and replacing it with a little better tape though
