A great value product compared to similar models with a different colour paint job, Works very efficiently.
It was easily installed, I had this winch working very quickly and found it snatched a bit too fiercely using the 125 Kg set up. Using the 250Kg set up it is ideal for my fairly light load. The end of line shut-off switch is a good safety mechanism and the control unit is simple and easy to use. Care needs to be exercised when lifting to make sure the wire cable winds back on to the reel uniformly and without overlapping. Reliable, versatile - and quieter than they used to be.
I bought one of these 5 or 6 years ago. It has worked faultlessly. This one (bought in June 2020) looks the same but runs much quieter when lifting a load and the 'clack' sound when stopping (from the brake applying) is much quieter. My old one I run with two falls of rope (giving a 250kg capacity) primarily to slow it down. When slower, it is easier to accurately position an engine in a car, for example. It also takes the 'shock' out of the stops and starts. The new one will be used for lifting shopping between floors, so I will use a single fall of rope to make it quick enough. Great little hoist
I needed a hoist to make servicing my zero turn mowers easier. This does the job. It allows two lift weights to be set and I chose the heavier 250kg. Simple to install and with one handed operation easy to use. For me an excellent buy at an exceptional price.

Great Hoist
I’ve purchased 4 of these and they all work great. The only small issue was the fan shroud was touching the fan blades on all four of them. The shroud is held on by two Philips head screws and was easy to reposition so the shroud was off the fan blades. The unit is pretty quiet and the controller works great. Oh and while I haven’t lifted anything really heavy yet, their operation is smooth and doesn’t seem to bog downI’ve purchased 4 of these and they all work great.
