      Looks good and fits well

      Had to make sure the latch lock fully extended when fitting. So it would lock shut & secure lock with the key & finger latch properly. So lining that up was important. Also getting the other lock & handle off, everything would unscrew but the key part was hard to get out. So using either the old key or paper clip would straighten the latch until it could be removed.

      Looks good & easy to fit.

      Items were a match for the replacement door handles/locks I replaced and also looked good. First handle/lock was replaced in a short period and worked well. However, when replacing the second handle/lock, I found that the barrel wouldn't lock. After removing and replacing half a dozen times, and even thinking I was doing something wrong, I reverted to using the old barrel (lock) in order for it to work. As I had slightly marked the handle I couldn't have it replaced. Also, the postage wouldn't make it worthwhile. Unfortunately the Barrel wouldn't work for this handle. I just put it down to either bad luck or a faulty part.

      The lock works well except that the screws that hold the side plates together took a bit of force to screw them into the opposite plate. I thought they might be cross threaded initially but they just needed some force to align the thread on the screws with the thread in the engaging plate. Other than that, it works well.

      New door lock

      almost fitted straight into door cavity, just needed to file a bit of metal on door , but that was not the fault of the lock , it would have been during manufacture of the door . Easy enough to put in after removing old door lock.
