Vin Diesel's Riddick character gets a new lease on life in this third film from writer/director David Twohy. Katee Sackhoff and Bokeem Woodbine head up a group of assassins out to kill Riddick, who lures them to a desolate planet when confronted with a hostile alien species. After being left for dead on a sun-scorched planet, Riddick found himself battling a race of alien predators to survive. One day he is able to activate an emergency beacon that alerts two ships. However, one of these ships is full of a new breed of mercenaries hell-bent on capturing or killing RIDDICK and the other is captained by a man from his past.

    Fantastic Vin Diesel

    I love Vin Diesel he is one of my favourite actors and he shines in this series of films. He is solo for part of this film and he has you feeling all the emotions you should with a film as great as this. I would recommend watching these films in order as they give more context to the characters and how they interact with one another but they are equally good as stand alone films if time does not permit. You'll laugh and cry and get caught up in another world you'll wish you could visit yet be equally glad you can't.
