I should have thought more about this before buying. 1. garden snakes like to curl around the handle. 2. When I got ready to vacuum the pool, I realized I had to take the handle off (unscrew) from the skimmer basket to set up the hose and plate in the skimmer basket.

Skimmer Basket, no worries about whats in the skimmer.
I always hate cleaning the skimmer baskets because of spiders, frogs, mice, moles and snakes. Our property backs up to the woods and there are all kinds of creatures that end up in the pool from time to time, We have those BIG wolf spiders and they really creep me out so I wait until my husband gets home to empty the baskets if need be. The long handle on the Skimmer Angel is prefect. It is out of the water enough that your hands aren't into the unknown. The only problem is when you manually clean the pool you have to take the Skimmer Angel off. skimmer angel skimmer basket handle is a life saver!!!
You will never have to put your hand into a basket filled with leaves and debris again .The handle makes emptying the basket so much safer. We sometimes have snakes, spiders and other critters in our baskets. My husband also does maintenance on pools and he has all of his clients using them. If you have a skimmer basket you won't regret getting the angel handle.

Make life easier for yourself !
I'm so glad I ordered this for my pool ! So much easier to get the basket out as mine don't have a handle or bar at the top , and my baskets fit tight to the bottom and the pump is usually running and this just makes it simple to get the basket out to empty and clean ! What a great tool ! Love it !

Sturdy basket
Thought I was getting just the handle, but the basket (and snake) came with it. Much sturdier than existing basket and handle I currently have. Will be purchasing another for 2nd skimmer. Now if I could just figure out how to keep those big mulch spiders off the handle... Highly recommend.
