The grains were kept well in a sealed bag and are in good condition. The seller also sent instructions on how to make kefir from the grains using a two jar and day to day method. I make kefir differently, making about a litre at a time but I have used both methods on these grains and they both work.The teaspoon of grains is able to be divided up, and stored in separate containers.
