  • Check it out, but only under $10.

While the game mechanics start off as rather confusing, it is something you're able to get used to. I'm not sure why the developers went with the direction of having a different style of racing game, but the ability to use weapons is still a nice touch had they worked more often. The commercials and the soundtrack are worth the cost alone as long as you find a seller who's willing to sell it cheaper than $10. Anything more than that is way too much of an asking price as this game is a poor man's WipEout. I'd recommend it if all you're sacrificing for it is a Starbucks.

  • Brings back memories...of good listening, anyway.

I'm a serious in-game audiophile, and although I couldn't stomach the game play for 10 minutes, the soundtrack is excellent! A great mix of ringing highs, balanced lows, and minimal generic instrumentation and noise. Plus none of the cheesey so-called "Hit" music artist PHONING-in emotionless lyrics that they wrote on the airplane to the game studio! Pure techno from a group of unknowns (to me at least) who I hope found other ways to express their talents outside of bad game titles. If you're into game soundtracks, pick this on up. it's in CD-DA format, so no buggy PSX playback tools!
