This cover is less than half the thickness of original. I decided to reupholster it right on top of the old one to be as padded as possible. Does the job. Skip the double sided tape. Use heavy duty 1/8in or 3/16in leg staples for best results. If removing old cover as instructed, I 100% recommend doing it over added padding. Great buy. Thank you!
