      Dryer knobs

      I replaced two of my dryer knobs, so they would match, after having one broken. As the plastic ages, old dryer knobs will crack and fail to turn the switches they are s1upposed to operate. These aftermarket knobs are a good value for me. They have the metal insert that "grips" the switches shaft. In addition they have a strong metal ring reinforcing the tube that the switch's shaft inserts into. That's an important upgrade from the original knobs. Should prevent future cracking. Nlote: the knobs fit very tight. That's a good thing, but can make installation tricky. A dab of petroleum jelly on the shaft helped. I happened to have

      Direct replacement; works great.

      Nice product, direct replacement for the knob I had on the dryer, which was worn. Getting two of these at this price was great-- I put the second one in the drawer next to the dryer for futures. Hopefully will never need it, but nice to have.

      GE dryer knobs

      Need to make sure to remove the old metal ring off if it is still on the plastic shaft. In my case my product came in with the metal ring. Make sure to remove the one from the shaft if it is still attaché to it and then install the knob
