I want to say first, that i am a big kim harrison fan. I usually LOVE her books. to the point where i buy them the day they come out. Having said all that, I have to say I really have not liked the last two books, the last one pale demon, i could change the title to ROADTRIP. THIS CURRENT BOOK, a perfect blood, did not hold my attention, i had to keep re-reading paragraphs because i kept feeling like i was missing something. Lots of details were missing. Rachel felt to me like she was depressed the entire book, and that damn silver band, i was like, take it off, take it off, you selfish .... take it off. She spends the whole book feeling sorry for her self and me, me, me. People die, people get cursed, and other bad things happened, that didn't have to because she wouldn't take that band off. I wanted to see rachel fight back, not cower in the corner, it was just horrible, i want a tough heroine, not a selfish one. also the lack of ivy rachel interaction was annoying, I usually wish for longer, much longer books, but this fustrated me to the point it took a week to read. for a person who reads a book a day, or in a few hours, that is a very very long time, and shows, how not interested i was in the story,Read full review

I'll say the same thing for all Kim Harrison book reviews! She has been my favorite author since I was a freshman in highschool! This book, just like all the others, did not disappoint! If you haven't read any of the Hollows books you are truely missing out!
